Direct plug-in via USB is often impractical for systems with multiple loggers, automatic read-out of the loggers in the office network via WLAN is actually already mandatory. However, it must also be possible to readout a modern system remotely. In this regard, an existing Internet connection for a company's branch offices must be useable, and so must the establishment of a separate Internet connection via the GSM/GPRS mobile phone network for recordings at a customer's site, where the network cannot be used. The user must always be able to decide for himself where to store the date and choose the path via which the data gets to him. The manufacturer's cloud server, may be convenient, however normally it is associated with running costs and data sovereignty and security can be major problems. A logger system that also offers alternative possibilities for storage on customer request and if need be can also simply send the data easily from a remote location via email, helps avoid problems in this area.
